Eurasian Economic Union to develop transport infrastructure

Recently, Eurasian Economic Commission Executive Committee Chairman Miasnikovic said that the member states decided to carry out the construction of transportation infrastructure, including the construction of Eurasian transport corridors and routes. The new infrastructure will be part of a new north-south and east-west international transport corridor.

The Eurasian Economic Commission was established in 2015, also known as the Eurasian Economic Union. Its members include Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia. All five countries are important partners in the construction of the “Belt and Road”.
