How to select the miniature circuit breaker in our home?

1. Wire side: The current of the circuit breaker should be less than the current carrying capacity of the wire. Otherwise, it is very likely that the overload will not trip, and the protection will not be achieved.
2. Total switch current: The current of the branch switch should be less than the total switch current to avoid over-level tripping.
3. Number of sockets: If there are too many sockets in this circuit, consider increasing the circuit breaker current and the line of the main circuit wire to avoid overload.
4. Circuit breaker stages: In general, from an economic and safety perspective, a single-pole circuit breaker can be used for the circuit breaker of an ordinary five-hole socket circuit, while a two-pole circuit breaker is required for the three-hole socket circuit used by high-power electrical appliances.
5. The protection function of the circuit breaker: All socket circuits must use a circuit breaker with leakage current. It is not recommended to use a leakage circuit breaker for the light circuit and the main switch to avoid malfunction.

Common leakage circuit breaker selections are 1PC16 leakage circuit breaker, 1PC20 leakage circuit breaker and 2PC32 leakage circuit breaker.
Preferably, the circuit breaker current of the household distribution box should not be greater than 32A, because the wire in the corridor is 6 square inches, and the single user current is too large, which may easily cause fire in the corridor.
