What are the reasons for the circuit breaker trip? How to deal with it?

When we encounter a circuit breaker trip, it is generally caused by three conditions, namely short-circuit trip, fault trip and leakage trip. We have collected the reasons for these three tripping methods and how we should deal with them.

1. Short-circuit trip: When the wire is short-circuited, the MCB cannot be closed, and the MCB will act as soon as it is closed. If it is a short-circuit failure of a household appliance, the MCB will not trip when it is not in use. When the household appliance in a short-circuit state is opened, the MCB will trip immediately. In this case, find the electrician who sets the line to measure it with a multimeter to find out the short-circuit point and eliminate the fault.
2. Overload trip: Overload trip is different from short circuit trip. Overload trip requires a certain time limit, ranging from a few seconds to a few minutes. The tripping time depends on the size of the MCB capacity. I guess that your home used it well when you didn't change the line, but it failed after the line was changed again. It may be caused by the selection of the wire or the capacity of the circuit breaker. In fact, the selection of wires and circuit breakers are calculated based on the actual power consumption. For example, a 1.5-hp air conditioner is approximately equivalent to 1.1KW of power. Copper wires of no less than 1.5mm2 should be used for power supply, and a D-type 10A circuit breaker should be used. It is powered by itself, and an air switch is not mixed with other electrical appliances.

3. Leakage trip: Leakage trip has a very obvious feature, its action part is on the protection device on the right side of the leakage protection, but the tripping position is on the left side of the leakage protection device. When a leakage occurs, the experimental button of the leakage protection device on the right will pop up. If it is not reset, the circuit breaker cannot be closed. The detection method is very simple, that is, plug in the household appliances one by one, and which one of the leakage protection trips, which is the leakage phenomenon.
If we are not electricians, we cannot operate it. We need to have rich experience and safe enough equipment before we can operate it.
